1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Discover Macroom, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Platform Description

Discover Macroom is a community business directory for Macroom, Co. Cork, Ireland. The platform provides free and paid business listings, an events calendar, and integration with the Grá Macroom Gift Card programme.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One business listing per business location
• Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information

4. Free and PRO Listings

Every business in Macroom can register a free listing. PRO subscriptions (€149/year) provide additional features including a verified badge, customisable business page, and priority visibility. See our pricing page for full details.

5. PRO Subscription and Cancellation

PRO subscriptions are billed annually. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, PRO features remain active until the end of your billing period, after which your listing reverts to the free tier.

6. Content and Conduct

• Listings must represent real businesses operating in or near Macroom
• Content must be accurate, non-misleading, and free of offensive material
• We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms
• Event submissions must be genuine community events

7. Limitation of Liability

Discover Macroom is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to ensure the platform is available and accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses arising from the use of the platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
